Workshops
Provence, France
July 1–7, 2007
The fifth annual "Painting and Drawing in Provence" workshop has been scheduled for the summer of 2007. If you haven't done the workshop before, this year is a must. With a small group of ten I am able to work with absolute beginners as well as experienced painters. This is pretty much the perfect situation for successful and fun plein air painting! The setting is beautiful, the rooms are lovely, and of course provide bathrooms close to where we are painting, and there is great French food being prepared for us as we paint.
I will meet the group in Paris on June 26. We will stay in the Latin Quarter and visit the great museums and galleries of this city - gaining inspiration. Sunday July 1 we will take the TGV train to Avignon and then drive to Le Lavandin Guest House in the beautiful countryside. The workshop will begin On Monday July 2 and end on Sat. July 7 when we will return to Paris by train for our departure.
Typically we have had a wonderful French breakfast and then painted in the morning. After being rewarded with a hearty and wonderful French lunch we have made excursions to markets and other sites in the afternoon. The workshop is 1900 Euros and includes a lovely double-occupancy room and breakfast and lunch. Please give me a call if you have any questions and visit the web page of Le Lavandin.
